Solar Panel and Prism Tower Build
A new build is out. This one is more of a redesign. I got rid of the confusing HWA towers and replaced them with something more plausible and naturally occurring.
I've touched on this in previous blog posts, but here's the gist. You now place solar panels to power certain deck top structures like the Hot Tub and the Prism Tower.
Prism Towers are a networked defensive structure that completely stops the enemy they lock on to. The greater number you place next to each other, the more powerful they become. You have to plan out your deck to make sure there is enough power for them and that they can connect to each other to stop enemies.
If you have played previous versions of the game, note that what used to be called "energy" is now a different resource called labor or manpower, represented with the muscle. Energy is now literally electricity, and you only get it by placing solar panels.
I have also tweaked the costs and manpower per turn to make easy mode truly an easy mode. I basically kept playing the game until I had enough starting resources to consistently lever myself up. For hard mode, I took easy mode's manpower per turn and subtracted five.
This is one step closer to the vision I have for this game. I hope you enjoy it :-)
