Take a look at this demo project I've put together. It's a demo application showing how you can render smooth pixel art with Apple's Metal shading language.
This repo is pretty unique. It's actually the basis of a fully cross-platform game engine. If one were so inclined, one could port this code to other platforms like Windows or the Nintendo Switch, creating a game like Shovel Knight or Celeste. Pretty neat, eh?
