Improved Camera Build Available
After much play testing on various Apple devices, I am happy to announce that the updated camera build is now available for you to download and play.
In essence, this build replaces the simpler horizontal scrolling camera with a more dynamic camera that always finds a way to put both the player and the selection area in the screen. It also cuts out the edges of the level, so there's less camera movement in general. If any of you are interested, I can write a more long form dev log talking about how I accomplished that with my custom handmade game engine.
Based on player feedback, I also decided to move some of the harder puzzles to the end of the game, and I introduced a few easier puzzles to give people more experience with some of the game's less obvious rules.
One player was having a hard time with ghost blocks, so there's a new level that provides a more gentle introduction to them.
I also recognize that the first level with downward falling blocks is pretty difficult, and I'm working on some puzzles that introduce them more gently.
Stay tuned and feel free to comment about your experience with the game. I would love to hear what you have to say.
